Abstract
U ovom su radu analizirane glavne fiziološke znaĉajke jesetri, vrsta porodice Acipenseridae od kojih su neke uslijed izloženosti mnogim promjenama u okolišu ugrožene i na rubu izumiranja. Jesetre su slatkovodne ili anadromne ribe, a ponajviše su poznate i gospodarski cijenjene zbog svoje ikre koja se preraĊuje u kavijar. Uz karakteristike rasta, životnog ciklusa, razmnožavanja i njegove kontrole, u ovom su radu analizirane i znaĉajke probavnog i cirkulacijskog sustava ovih vrsta.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, the main physiological characteristics of the sturgeons, species of the family Acipenseridae, some of which are due to many changes in the environment at the level of extinction, are analysed. They are freshwater or anadromous fishes, and are mostly known and economically valued as a source of the caviar. In addition to the characteristics of growth, life cycle, reproduction and its control, the features of the digestive and circulatory system of these species are also analysed.
